Gujarat High Court issue 26000 Vacancy in Police Department

As on July 31, the state police department has informed the High Court that there are 217 vacancies in the state police department.
The state government had stated the above fact in its reply to the Suomoto petition filed by the High Court in the whole matter. There are currently more than 3,000 vacancies in the state against a total of 1.04 lakh sanctioned posts in the police department. However, the government also clarified that the recruitment process for 214 posts has been started and as a result.
