Gujarat Government Decide Reduce syllabus of All Standard

     Press Release In the situation of coVID-19, the decision of the State Government to reduce the curriculum from Std. 9 to 12 in the interest of the students. The press release of Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education states that in the current situation of CoVID-12 in place of Hon'ble Education Minister  In the presence of the officers of the Education Department at the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for consideration on reducing the working days and curriculum in the schools  Meetings were held on the 2nd.  A meeting was held at STTI, Gandhinagar on 9/07/2050 under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Minister of Education to consider this matter, in which academics as well as experts and officials of different disciplines were present. 


The work could not be done.  But the task of educating students through online education has been done through different mediums.  In the current situation, the curriculum has been reduced by CBSE as well as other state boards as well as representations have been received from students and parents to reduce the curriculum.  In the interest of the students in the prevailing situation of COvip-19, the State Government has decided to reduce the estimated curriculum in all the schools recognized by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for the academic year 2020-21 by an estimated 30%. 

.  So that the stress of students can be reduced and Std-12

      In all the schools, it has been decided to reduce the curriculum from Std-9 to Std-12 by an estimated 30% for the academic year 2020-21, so that the stress of the students can be reduced and the students of Std-10 and Std-12 can prepare well for the board exams.  The issues reduced from the syllabus of Std-9 to 1 have been reduced for the purpose of examination i.e. those issues have been canceled from the syllabus.  From there, questions will not be asked in the examination, but in the academic interest of the students, the teachers will have to impart the knowledge of this issue to the students, this matter will be applicable only for the academic year 2020-201.  Care has been taken to ensure that leaked chapters do not become a topic while reducing the syllabus and students do not face any difficulty in competitive examinations.

      A detailed circular in this regard will be issued by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.  In which the details of the ongoing chapters / issues in the syllabus of Puran-9 to 12 subjects as well as the chapters / issues canceled from the syllabus will be sent to all the schools recognized by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board through all the District Education Officers.
